I tried Elbow Grease’s ‘innovative’ new washing up spray to clean my frying pan – results – Express

Washing up can be tiresome and some washing up liquids won’t cut through burnt-on food or stains, meaning it can require extra work to remove them. Too much scrubbing can cause scratches and marks however, so I decided to put Elbow Grease’s new product to the test to see how it worked.

The company recently released another innovative product, Elbow Grease Washing Up Spray, which aims to cut through grease and grime in an instant.

The powerful formulation works hard to quickly dissolve and remove stubborn food deposits from glasses, pans and plates.

To put it to the test, I decided to use it on one of my Tefal frying pans, which is used almost daily in my household.

It often gets greasy due to the oil used in it as well as burn marks building up over time.

I’m not sure if I would use it in my day-to-day washing up, but the occasional use on really stained or marked kitchenware is something I would definitely do.

Elbow Grease said: “With the average person spending 25 minutes a day or six days a year scrubbing away at the kitchen sink, this latest product from Elbow Grease will not only free up hours of our lives but will also help us use less water during this daily chore whilst we get our pots and pans back to being tip-top and shiny.

“The innovative design means that the Washing Up Spray needs minimal amounts of water to activate the grease-combating foam from the bottle. Spray, Wipe, Rinse – it’s that simple – the washing up is done.”

The product comes in a 500ml bottle, has a lemon scent and is available at B&M stores across the UK for around £1.50.

I do, however, love the Elbow Grease All Purpose Degreaser, and it is a staple in my cleaning cupboard for cleaning surfaces.

The cleaning spray claims to be formulated to remove grease and oil in all situations.

It is ideal for removing grease spots from fabrics and porous materials.

The brand behind the spray said: “The ultimate power degreasing properties of this cleaner make it the only cleaner you will ever need, the uses are endless.

“Elbow Grease cleans pots, pans, kitchen tops, ovens, microwaves, showers, sinks, BBQs, and much, much more.”

I recently used it to clean my stained hob and it came up brilliantly.
